«Se poser, regarder, voir, entrevoir l’extra dans l’ordinaire, l’invisible, l’indiscible, un joyeux chaos éclectique, un kaléidoscope onirique…» Sandrine Estrade-Boulet se définit comme une «hallucinartiste». Cette démarche repose sur la notion de pareidolie, qui consiste a reconnaître des formes familières, dans notre environnement immédiat. Par exemple: voir un visage dans un bout de trottoir, une tige de fleur dans une fissure, une chevelure de personnage dans une touffe d’herbe, un paysage dans l’écorce d’un arbre.. A l’heure ou il est important que le monde ralentisse, cette artiste revendique « de prendre le temps de prendre son temps, de s’attarder, observer le monde qui nous entoure, rêver… ». Ses créations hallucinatoires, assemblage entre photographie, illustration, oeuvres digitales et réalisations in situ en mileu urbain, sont autant d’espaces de liberté, d’humour, de poésie, de légèreté, de monde invisible, d’humanisme, et de surréalisme assumés, faits pour «voir plus loin que le bout de son nez».
